Hello, my name is Angenise Rawls and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m the calligraphy artist and designer of The Graceful Pen Studio. From logos to custom menu cards, wedding seating charts to table signs and framed Scriptures, you’ll find me swooning over all the pretty letters, paint, wax seals and textured paper! This is my little corner of creativity and my southern Ohio-based studio is where I call home.
I’m a Christian mama artist who loves Jesus, singing, playing piano, and of course, calligraphy. I believe it’s important to do everything from the heart and with love. Perhaps I get it from my own mama, but that’s what keeps me striving to do better and always give my very best. How is engraving done? I use a brushless motor micro drill that is portable and quiet enough to set up on site. Engraving can be done on glass, ceramic, marble, metal, mirrors, and plastic surfaces. Hot foiling can be done on leather and faux leather materials. Calligraphy (using ink) can be done on acrylic, paper, agate, marble, and other surfaces.
*Services begin at a minimum of $175/hour for a minimum of four hours.
